Qatargas Operating Company has exciting opportunities available for qualified
professionals to join our company in the development of the vast North Field in Qatar.
Qatargas currently has under development over $20 billion worth of major projects,
including the construction of four new Liquefied Natural Gas trains for the production and export of LNG to every corner of the globe.


Senior Business Systems Analyst

Working within the Commercial & Shipping Business Systems section, coordinates the
design, specification, implementation and operational activities of the hydrocarbon
accounting system, supply chain management system, data reconciliation system (material balance software), price and energy data service provider. Coordinates with the Qatargas IT department for the full lifecycle in the development, configuration, implementation, support and maintenance of Commercial & Shippings business systems in support of Qatargas expansion and new business requirements.

Qualifications & Experience

• Degree qualified with experience in hydrocarbon accounting tools (ideally Energy
Components) together with exposure to supply chain management tools in the oil & gas
business. In addition to having solid knowledge of relational databases and report
generation tools, must understand the concepts and principles of oil & gas production, transportation, sales and production allocation.
• A minimum of seven years working in a world-class organization committed to
excellence in operational performance.

Senior Production Sales Planner

Manages an integrated supply chain for up to 200 LNG cargoes as part of a team handling 500+ LNG cargoes annually. Supports negotiations of annual delivery programs with major world class ING Buyers. Develops and optimizes complex logistical plans for the delivery of LNG from the world's largest LNG production facility to multiple worldwide destinations on a large LNG fleet so as to meet commitments and maximize business opportunities via spot sales and cargo redirections. Coordinates with several internal and external parties the scheduling optimization of a large and complex joint export terminal for multiple non-LNG cargoes on behalf of all Ras Laffan producers as part of a team covering up to 2,500 such cargoes annually. Provides regular production and sales information into company budgeting and business planning.

Qualifications & Experience

• Degree qualified or 5 years work experience in a similar environment.
• Must have had at least 3 years in oil/gas planning or tanker/terminal scheduling
operations.
• Working knowledge of current supply chain management computer systems and linear
optimizers is a distinct advantage.

Senior Hydrocarbon Accounting Engineer

Configures, runs and maintains material balance business systems together with complex production allocation business systems for Qatargas ventures and Qatargas operated shared storage & loading facilities in Ras Laffan City . Conducts technical work related to production accounting, inventory control and process evaluation/analysis in liaison with various company departments as well as other business partners and shared facilities representatives. This includes the preparation and update of measurement and allocation procedures, the tracking and calculation of production and royalty volumes, the provision of expertise to external parties including audit requirement and the preparation of various production, reconciliation and allocation reports.

Qualifications and Experience

• Degree in Engineering is essential with minimum 6 years experience in the Natural Gas or Oil refining Industry.

Offshore Maintenance Engineer

Provides support for the Mechanical, Electrical & Instrument maintenance of field.
equipment. Contributes to the overall planning & execution of major shutdowns. Provides technical advice to Mechanical, Electrical & Instrument Supervisors.

Qualifications & Experience

• Mechanical, Electrical or Instrument Degree.
• 5 years in the oil and Gas industry preferably with offshore related experience in fields of design, operation, commissioning and Startup.

Offshore Maintenance Planner

Coordinates and participates in maintenance work planning for all regular and scheduled preventive maintenance, defect repair and modification activities of offshore facilities.

Qualifications & Experience

• Completion of Secondary education with trade training in an engineering discipline.
• 8 years maintenance experience in an oil or gasprocess, plant, including site activities and planning experience.

Logistics Officer – Marine

Plans, oversees and controls marine operations supporting Company offshore. Performs
vessel On & Off-Hire. Initiates and follows up on various marine contracts. Directs marine vessel loading and unloading operations.

Qualifications & Experience

• Completion of Secondary education with formal training in Business Administration.
• 5 years in marine offshore support position.
• Varied experience in handling materials, equipment and logistic activities in supporting offshore Oil & Gas operations.

Both these positions below are regarded as crucial part of the command structure, and officers will be expected to respond and take command role on an incident scene when
requested by the Chief Fire Officer. In the absence of the Chief Fire Officer; the officers will be expected to act in the position and assumes all duties and responsibility in accordance with the job requirement.

Fire Training Officer

Plan, develop and conduct the fire training programs for all firefighters, company
employees and the community.

Fire Protection Officer

Develop, implement and supervise the fire protection and prevention programs. Perform fire code enforcement activities and inspections, for compliance with International fire codes requirements.
