HR assistant manager at Omron

Assistant Manager, Human Resource (Code: OEP-ID HRM)
(Based at Jakarta, Indonesia)

Responsible for assisting the Country Manager to set–up the HR Department and implementing HR strategic
action plan to support our Indonesia strategic business plan. The position will report directly to
the Country Manager and functional reporting to the Regional HR Manager based at Singapore.

Summary of Job Description Administer compensation, benefits and performance management systems programs.
Identify staff vacancies and recruit, interview and select applicants. Provide current and prospective employees with information about policies, job duties, working conditions, wages, and opportunities for promotion and employee benefits. Perform difficult staffing duties, including dealing with understaffing, refereeing disputes, terminating employees, and administering disciplinary procedures. Advise managers on organizational policy matters such as local employment law, sexual harassment, and recommend needed changes.Analyze and recommend compensation and benefits policies to establish competitive programs and ensure compliance with legal requirements. Plan and conduct new employee orientation to foster positive attitude toward organizational objectives. Serve as a link between management and employees by handling questions, interpreting and administering contracts and helping resolve work-related problems.

Plan, direct, supervise, and coordinate work activities of subordinates and staff relating to employment, compensation, labor relations, and employee relations.

General Requirements
- Basic Degree in Human Resource Management, Psychology or Business Administration with at least 6 years of HR working experiences.
- Must be currently holding an Assistant Manager, HRD position – as potential candidate will be under our
OEP-G “Fast-Track” Manager program for 2 years.
- Candidate with HR working experience in (i) industrial automation industry (sales & marketing environment); (ii) MERCER TRS methodology; (iii) MBO (Management By Objective) / Balanced Scorecard (BSC) / Key Performance Indicator (KPI) will have an added advantage
- Must have good working knowledge of Indonesia labour law.
- Excellent written and verbal communication in English.
- Good knowledge of MS Office application software
- Good interpersonal and presentation skills
- Must be a team player, self-starter & results-oriented
