Position Description
The US based Credit and Collection Analyst will be responsible for enforcing Lionbridge's corporate credit policy in a manner that will maximize sales and minimize risk.

The Credit and Collection Analyst will work closely with the Corporate Credit Manager, Sales, Operations and Finance to facilitate the establishment of new customers, maintain existing customers and drive the collection effort in a timely and efficient manner as well as providing analytical reports in order to change/improve processes as required.

Primary responsibilities:
• Analyze and approve all new customers for credit worthiness holding firm to our standard net 14 day payment terms. Utilize the credit application for trade and bank references, credit bureau reports such as Experian and Dunn & Bradstreet and available audited financials to determine credit worthiness.
• Maintain credit files for all new customers documenting the credit approval decision for dollar limit and payment terms.
• Establish a process for the review of existing customers to ensure credit worthiness across the AR portfolio.
• Drive collections by escalating any customer issues in a professional, documented and systematic manner until resolved.
• Drive the resolution of collections problems by calling timely, understanding the issues, articulating those issues and getting the appropriate Lionbridge personnel to resolve those issues in a timely fashion. Follow-up with the customer for final resolution and payment.
• Communicate weekly to the appropriate Sales and Operations teams on any issues requiring their support. Hold them accountable and to a strict timeline for resolution.
• Weekly provide a twelve week forward cash forecast based on detailed and timely knowledge of our customers payment habits and issues.
• Manage and coordinate any internal cross functional requirements to resolve collection issues.
• Provide timely support to internal customers.
• Satisfy internal controls requirements of Sarbanes-Oxley.
• Escalate any concerns to the Corporate Credit Manager immediately for timely resolution.
• Hold accountable to AR metrics (DSO, over 90 day and unapplied payments).

Required Skills/Background:
; 3+ years of commercial collections experience
; Sarbanes Oxley
; Must have a strong ability to multi task and set priorities appropriately
; Must have experience analyzing and reviewing customer credit
; Excellent communication skills

Education/Certification Required
• Bachelor's Degree is preferred or equivalent experience.
